Hello all, this is my first post here. A question about the Fig element (Mardek): what monsters have resistances to Fig attacks? Just two of the 3 Fig-typed monsters? Or is there more?

In addition to the Whim and Forgotten Face, the Skelizard, Golem and most of the gemstone-type enemies (Ruby, Emerald, Fire Opal, Topaz, Moonstone and Onyx, but not Turquoise) have some level of positive Fig resistance. As well, the Master Stone and Annihilator:Karnos can both shift their element to have Fig resistance, and any Aether Clone wearing a Template:MItemLink will resist this too.
Wow, thanks! How do you remember all of that? Or did you just comb through all of the monster pages? I didn't realize there was that many (well it's not a whole lot, but it's a decent number!). Anyway, thanks! :) The Fig element now really reminds me of Pokèmon's Dragon type: resisted by less than a tenth of the monsters AND obsurdly rare! But that's just my mind thinking...
EDIT: Now that I'm thinking some more, how about Thauma? I remember reading that there were 3 monsters with any type of resistance to it, and I THINK I remember checking and seeing that they're all negative resistances (weaknesses), so is it really true that Thauma is unresisted? It sounds to good to be true, but...
I've actually just got some notes on my computer from back when I was adding this information. A lot easier to search through than the wiki itself.
As for Thauma, you're right about that being a really powerful and rare element even moreso than Fig. Nothing, not enemies or PCs, can have a positive resistance to it. On top of that, the only enemies that can actually deal Thauma damage are Fire Guardian, Water Guardian, Earth Guardian and Annihilator:Animus. I never really thought of it before, but Legion's Gemsplosion: Evening Star is actually pretty OP.
Wait, then check the Forgotten Face page... It claims that it has a 100% resistance (immunity) to Thauma? Also, about Gemsplosion: Evening Star, check the entry to Evening Star: it also gives the move a power of 80! :)
Yeah, it's a pretty powerful move for sure. As for the Forgotten Face, I checked in the game, and that's definitely a mistake; thanks for catching it! I'll fix it now.
Ok, you're welcome! And wait, what do you have 20 different save files all in different locations so you can call on any monster in the game straight away? To be honest, it's kind of a shame that Fig is weaker than Thauma, it felt so cool to be ble to get this element of the mind through one move and destroy everyone with it... Oh well, at least that will happen with Thauma, and there's no NullThauma to counter it either! Sheesh, the more I talk about it the more I realize how OP that move is...
No, I just looked in the bestiary of a late-game save. Easiest way to get an enemy's stats.
Oh, the Beastiary... Sorry, forgot about that.
