Miserable ol' Martin, real name Eric, is a character in MARDEK.
Background[]
Not much is known about Martin's life, though judging by his depressing attitude, he appears to have had a painful and unpleasant one. According to himself he was cursed in his previous life, this might have something to do with his extreme misery.
Involvement[]
In Chapter 3, Martin's soul is mistakenly sent to reside in the metal man that Meraeador builds, along with the souls of Baron von Doomkill, Deena, and Bostolm. Gloria names the robot Legion, a reference to the Bible.
Trivia[]
- Miserable ol' Martin is a reference to Marvin the Paranoid Android from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
