Were you looking for the element Earth?

Mostly Harmless.

Douglas Adams

Earth is most likely the planet on which you live and were born. It is the third planet in the Sol system. Many of its human inhabitants believe that it is the only planet in the multiverse on which life has evolved. But that just goes to show how underdeveloped they are.

Physical Characteristics

The surface of Earth consists of about 70% water, 30% land. Environments vary drastically, from frigid arctic areas to scorching deserts. There are many lush forests on Earth.

Earth has a single satellite, Luna; commonly referred to by the humans on Earth as 'The Moon'. It is basically a small, inhospitable rock.

There are many different, varied human cultures on Earth, many of which cannot seem to agree with each other at all. The humans delight in wars against themselves for personal gain. They rarely consider others. Humans' technology isn't great, but it's not bad, either. They're in the early stages of their computer age. They've yet to develop reliable and efficient space travel methods, and are nowhere near developing interstellar travel. That's probably a good thing, though; they'd probably only try to conquer other worlds if they had it anyway.

Earth is notable for having no true Monsters whatsover. Its animals can be savage, though, but they are mostly weak and easily dispatched with most kinds of weapon. Adventurers should look out for humans more than anything when travelling on this world.
